— Through daily women’s circles you’ll —

✔ Get clear on your values and what you stand for in life. We’ll explore the ways that alcohol has kept you stuck and evaluate whether or not your relationship with alcohol truly aligns with how you want to treat yourself, others, and the world around you.

✔ Create a step-by-step plan to show up confidently and authentically alcohol-free and take committed action guided by your values, even when it seems too difficult or painful in the short term.

✔ Learn to ground yourself in the present moment so that you may connect with and engage fully in your life and relationships, rather than leaning on alcohol for temporary relief.

✔ Explore the role of opening up and making space for uncomfortable thoughts, emotions, and impulses and experience how acceptance paradoxically leads to greater freedom from suffering.

✔ Master the art of watching your thoughts and emotions with curiosity, rather than becoming entangled with every stressful or critical thought that enters your mind. This defusion from thoughts provides the flexibility to hold thoughts loosely, rather than allow them to dictate our actions.

let's cover a few FAQ's

Do I have to be alcohol-free to attend?

This retreat is specifically designed for the sober or sober curious woman who is on a journey of examining and transforming her relationship with alcohol. Women interested in working on other barriers to living into their full potential are welcome to join, as long as they are committed to living alcohol free for the duration of the retreat.

This retreat is does not adhere to any type of recovery framework, but rather provides an opportunity to experience healing and connection with like minded women in a beautiful and welcoming culture.

How do I sign up?

Today, you'll submit a non refundable secure deposit of $500 to reserve your spot. A second payment of $1200 is due on December 15 and a third payment of $1200 is due on February 15. Payment plans are available by request.

What if I have to cancel?

Because we partner with retreat companies and centers that have strict refund policies of their own, we have the following refund policy. The initial deposit is non-refundable without exception. The second payment may be refundable up to 90 days before the retreat, after which they are not refundable.

I highly recommend getting "Cancel For No Reason" Travel Insurance if you anticipate you may have a conflict.

What's included?

7 days and 7 nights private accommodation at the luxurious Mathis Retreat Ubud, 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 2 dinners, daily yoga classes, daily empowerment workshops with Jane, all retreat excursions and activities.

What's not included?

Airfare and travel insurance

Some meals

What airport do I fly into?

Denpasar, Bali

I recommend using Skyscanner to search for the most cost effective options.

When should I depart my city of origin and when should I arrive in Bali?

The retreat begins at 6:30pm on April 21. Check in is at 2pm. If you are traveling from the United States, you will likely need to depart your city of origin the evening of April 19 (due to the time change.) For example, when I traveled to Bali from Dallas, TX earlier this year, I left DFW at 8pm on a Wednesday and arrived to Denpasar mid day on a Friday. If you would like to arrive early, arrangements can be made for additional night(s) (cost not included in total retreat cost.)

Upon departure from Bali, you will arrive home the following calendar day since you’ll gain back the 12ish hours you lost from the time change.

Do I need a travel Visa?

Yes, you can complete the Visa form 2 days prior to arrival in Bali and pay the $35 fee upon arrival in Denpasar Airport. Instructions will be provided.
